Kay has over 25 years experience operating at board level in an executive and non-executive capacity within large complex organisations. A commercially focused leader, passionate about companies being a force for good,  she has significant experience in leading transformational change in responsible business and diversity and inclusion. 

An agile, strategic thinker with vision, enthusiasm and an inquisitive approach. Her collaborative high energy leadership style, allied with her passion for engaging on social and ethical issues, allows her to maintain a culture of honesty, trust and professional integrity.

Kay has worked for B&Q, BSKYB, Royal Mail. She has been a Commissioner on the Disability Rights Commission and the Equality and Human Rights Commission. She also served as a NED on the Department for Work and Pensions PDCS Board. She has run her own successful consultancy supporting global clients for 20 years specialising in Responsible Business and Diversity and Inclusion. Currently a member of the Communication Consumer Panel for Ofcom.

In 2010 she was asked by Downing St to look at Responsible Business Practice of small business as part of the Big Society Team. As a result she created the on line digital platform ‘Trading for Good’ which is now owned by BITC. 

Published a guide to managing the corporate charity partnership call 'Corporates are from Mars, Charities are from Venus.' Kay is keen horse rider and owns two special Arabian horses.
