Step two: You will discuss and create your career aspiration

A personal career aspiration is simply a paragraph that encapsulates everything you would like to be, do, and have in your career. It describes YOU not the role you want to have.

It defines what success and excellence look like to you. It expresses your vision for where you want to be in the future.  It should reflect your values that we identified in session 1 goals, and purpose and how you want to operate.

Being clear on your aspiration will help you to:

1. Describe what you want to achieve in the future.

2. Define your desired future state

3. Inspire you to give your best

4. Shape your understanding of why you are doing what you do.

5. Determine the direction of travel for your career steps

6. Develop your own leadership style

7. Share your own story to others
